Basically this HHO generator electrolyzer can be as small as a 1 quart jar and this can be just a simple mason jar. This will hold a quart of water which would be installed under your hood. If this particular 1 quart of water jar was working through a hydrogen on demand system on a four cylinder engine you can get 20% to 30% or better mileage depending on various factors.
Now on the newer cars we have what’s known as the electronic fuel injection. And on the newer vehicles they have within their computers onboard diagnostics that govern every function of the engine. So it’s very hard to tweak the engine because of the onboard computer that regulates the engine.
If I were to install one on a 2008 Honda Accord you might see an immediate increase in mileage and then it might go right back down to your original mileage because that on-board computer will actually kick in and say wait a minute I have to compensate for this lean mixture of fuel because it’s been programmed back at the factory to have dirty emissions. All of the older model cars that don’t use a computer there is no problem because you don’t have to worry about the computer.
Vehicles prior to the mid-1990s have fuel injection but didn’t have sophisticated computers. On these types of vehicles you get incredible boost in your miles per gallon because there’s nothing regulating a leaner better fuel.
There are a couple of things that you can do to work with these computers in your car. The computer is sensitive to the temperature of the engine and also the exhaust and so what it does is it regulates the air to fuel mixture somewhere around 14-1.
There is a device that you can add that will reduce the temperature of the oxygen sensor to tell the computer we’re running a little cooler and everything is fine and you don’t have to run the air fuel mixture rich.
Some cars have a sensor so another thing you can do here is you can use a signal dampener which they referred to it as a maps sensor in the guide. You can flip the switch to allow your car to run the leanest fuel mixture you can but you can’t get around the computer and you can’t beat the computer so you just have to work with it.
If the problem is to pass emissions is that if a car is running with this system and the exhaust is putting out a less dirty air or leaner emissions than the computer that is sensing that will say that there is something wrong with this car because it’s not within their criteria. So what we like to do is disconnect the unit (takes 5 minutes) before you to go and have it inspected for emissions.
People with brand-new cars with this type of system installed will actually take it out before they bring the car and to have it serviced.
It’s basically a couple of vacuum hoses and a wire and that’s it. It’s not a permanent attachment to the engine so you don’t have to alter the car in any way to install it or to take it out. And you don’t have to drill any holes in anything. it’s a very simple installation.
